NZ Tax Hub by DBGAS ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 and the Information Privacy Principles (IPPs) contained within it.

  • Name, email address, phone number and postal address
  • IRD number and tax-related financial information
  • Business information including GST number, company number, and financial records
  • Information provided via our contact form, email or WhatsApp

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide tax preparation, bookkeeping and accounting services
  • Communicate with you regarding your tax obligations and our services
  • File returns and correspond with IRD on your behalf (with your authority)
  • Send relevant tax updates and newsletters (you may opt out at any time)

3. Disclosure of Your Information

We will not sell, trade or otherwise transfer your personal information to third parties without your consent, except where required by law (e.g. IRD, Courts) or where necessary to provide our services (e.g. authorised software providers like Xero).

4. Data Security

We take all reasonable steps to protect your personal information from unauthorised access, disclosure or loss. All client data is stored securely and accessible only to authorised personnel.

5. Access to Your Information

6. Retention

We retain client records for a minimum of 7 years as required by New Zealand tax law, after which records are securely destroyed.
